==Flexcommlab== is an open source initiative, both hardware and software based, interested to strengh the collaboration among different institutions in developing a common framework to explore the introduction of flexibility in the different layers of the wireless communication systems.

The core of such initiative are the =PHAL-OE= concept and the available software carrying out most of the defined functionalities and also some beta versions of standard waveforms, like WiMAX or UMTS.

==FlexCommLab== main laboratori is located in UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) premises in the EPSC (Escola Politècnica Superior Castelldefells)
